I made it by myself, like try and error...

First a friend told me you could "easily" take clothes and make an blueprint pattern. So i tried... But it wasn't as easy as told and the first ones doesn't fit properly, so i adjusted my pattern 2 times and that's now my pattern. But you also could buy them, download and print. I bought one from Pattydoo.de but never sewed it because I was still working on my pattern and wanted to adjust it properly... So now I got an complete pattern for an Tracksuit.

Wow i will have to try that aswell than.

It's no magic sometimes you just have to try and even try ;)

Maybe I should even say you also need patience, if you're not advanced like me this time, much patience. Idk how long I was working at this jacket but it have been several hours. It's with white liner inside and if I had taken an 2 sided zipper i could it wear inside out too...

O and i did make a jacket using and old nike windrunner jacket. I took it apart and used the parts as templates. The jacket did fit. But there where indeed a few parts that need adjustment. But the wrong way. The sleeves needed to be longer. And putting nylon in is more difficult than shortening the sleeve.

Jep it is, thought I uploaded a picture too, but not sure. It's made as like the pants.

And yes you could also take clothes and cut it into pieces but you should think about some lines have to be longer or more before sewing because you can't sew on the edge, something's also will be flipped 1 or maybe 2 times depending on the style you do it. And maybe it's also good to compare the measurements.

So my wishes are i want it Nice like bought but also it have to last as long as possible.

There it is, i forgot ...

Yes that i have noticed. So I took the ould jacket appart by removing all the seam threads. And yes indeed i added a cm or so for flipping the fabric over for added strength.

Yes that is my dream aswel to sew nylon clothing that lasts a lifetime. So I dont have to be gentle with it when im wearing it.

O wow that inside looks so incredibly soft. I bet it is heaven to wear it.i love the feeling of soft shiny nylon on my skin.

Nice, so it sounds to me like you're not inexperienced... So all will be fine then...

And i hate to open seams the longer the more I hate it
Yes i have some experience with sewing nylon clothing. But I want more nylon gear so will have to get more experience.

Yes opening seams is a pain in the ***. But sometimes it is the only option.
