Hey, sorry if this doesn’t interest some, but I’m really excited and just needed to tell someone, so I figured I’d post to people who’d understand what I’m feeling!

I’m wearing my trackies out in public for the very first time today - just for a thrill!
Wearing my adidas nylon (lined) pants; the first I ever bought. They feel amazing and I’ve never been so conscious of my own legs before with every little movement the fabric swishes over them

The thought of running into anyone I know when I’m wearing them is making my heart beat so fast it’s insane - my neighbour has already seen them and I got a shiver of excitement

Trying not to get too turned on of course, but I’m wearing them in the back of an uber right now as I type and I just can’t believe I’d ever try this and it’s actually happening

Why the sorry? 😅

I think it's nice to read or hear experiences like this from others, sometimes you get inspiration sometimes you can "feel" the story with them because you have had similar experiences....

Things like that remind me of "you're not alone" 😉

I wear them all the time in public, when casual attire is appropriate (not to work or to formal/ business-cashual events, and with underwear). It's "my style" and I think a lot people who notice the adidas nylon pants like them. I've gotten some complements too: "I like your bright blue pants". I find them much more comfortable than jeans or cargo pants, and also like the look much better than cotton sweatpants (I'd be embarissed wearing cotton sweatpants in public- just ugly rather than an athletic or urban look).

the idea of someone noticing and commenting on the pants would be almost too much to handle at this early stage - i might try and work it in to my style, but it's very much not "me" to be seen in trackpants, coz I've always gone out of my way to not wear them to avoid embarrassment

After all, they're just athletic pants. Water resistant and typically used for running, but today people wear all kinds of clothes everywhere (when causual attire is appropriate). Nothing to be embarissed about.
