Different Type of Nylon Pants??

The tag on these says nylon but they don’t look like the regular nylon. They look like a tougher and noisier nylon, or at least to me they do. Anyone ever have any experience with pants like these?

Hmm to me they look like those clothes are from Satin... Nylon satin. Like the classic Adi sprinters...

I've seen those, that material is like the dazzle basketball shorts of the 2000s. A lot of the shine of nylon, but for me, all of the excitement of cotton when it comes to feel. 😂

These might be a little more promising than the Kappa ones, they look rougher, but swishy though.

Personally I'd skip those. They look way more rough, almost "ridged" material, vs smooth nylon.

I think the shine is more from the flash than the material.

There are LOTS of different types of nylon. Rip stop vs non-ripstop, calendered (smoothed) vs non, various thread count/denier/density of fibers, waterproof vs water resistant, etc. These can affect the material's thickness, stickness, smoothness, etc.

So I ended up asking the seller and she posted a picture of the tag. The tag says 100% polyamide nylon

Hey everyone I wanted to give a quick update. I went ahead and bought these! https://www.depop.com/products/plasticforks-really-cool-kappa-windbreaker-track/ I’m glad I did. It was hard to tell from the pictures but they’re definitely swishy nylon and they’re definitely windpants.
